Sephora is hiring an entry-level Maintenance Technician for its Las Vegas Distribution Center. The role performs equipment and facility maintenance, preventive maintenance, and repairs, with a flexible schedule that may include required overtime; it is a permanent, full-time position, Monday through Thursday.
Role & Responsibilities
- Complete assigned equipment and facility repairs and upgrades involving plumbing, painting, and basic facility upkeep.
- Perform preventive maintenance on selected motorized material-handling and warehouse equipment, including lubrication, cleaning, and simple repairs.
- Check, change, and clean powered industrial truck batteries.
- Document equipment repairs and adjustments.
- Provide general labor and perform custodial duties and repairs to household fixtures.
- Operate motorized material-handling equipment as needed to complete maintenance assignments.
- Assist with setup, teardown, and cleanup for company social functions, meetings, and events.
- Follow safety laws and company safety policies, wear proper work attire, and report safety violations or potential violations to supervisory or management personnel.
- Follow company Loss Prevention policies and procedures.
- Maintain a flexible schedule, including required overtime based on business needs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, with technical training and/or experience.
- Background in mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Material-handling equipment maintenance experience preferred.
- Able to stand, sit, squat, lift, and/or walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working at heights of up to 32 feet when operating scissor lifts and other warehouse lift equipment.
- Manual dexterity to operate power tools and other mechanical equipment safely and competently.
