Sephora Toronto (Yonge & Eglinton) seeks a Paid Services Beauty Advisor — full-time hourly role CAD$20.20–23.20/hr at 2300 Yonge St.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide personalized beauty consultations to assess clients’ skin, makeup preferences and beauty goals.
- Deliver customized beauty services at the Beauty Studio, including makeup application and basic skincare treatments while adhering to health and hygiene standards.
- Demonstrate product application and offer tailored product recommendations to drive retail conversion and repeat business.
- Manage bookings and rebooking for beauty services; maintain an organised appointment schedule.
- Keep abreast of emerging beauty trends, new product launches and brand initiatives to provide informed, inspirational client advice.
- Support in-store sales events and promotional activities, contributing to store sales targets and customer engagement.
- Assist with light inventory handling and maintain a clean, service-ready Beauty Studio environment.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of prior experience in retail sales or client-facing beauty services (preferred).
- Practical knowledge of current beauty trends, makeup application techniques and basic skincare protocols.
- Demonstrated passion for client service, retail selling and delivering memorable experiences.
- Strong verbal communication skills, the ability to multitask and maintain composure during peak periods.
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends; consistent and reliable attendance.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as required for stock and merchandising tasks.
Skills
Experience
1–3 years of retail sales or beauty service experience is preferred; candidates with practical makeup/skincare service experience will be strongly considered. Entry-level applicants demonstrating strong customer service aptitude may be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; cosmetology, esthetics or related certification is an asset but not mandatory.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 20.20 to CAD 23.20 per hour.
