Sephora — Licensed Beauty Advisor (Part-time) in Houston, TX. Provide makeup, waxing and beauty services; $21.75–$28.00/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver makeup, waxing and false-lash application services according to Sephora’s Beauty Services menu while maintaining professional technique and speed
- Drive sales and store KPIs by recommending products, rebooking beauty services and converting service clients into repeat retail customers
- Maintain active state licensure and adhere to all health, safety and hygiene protocols at all times
- Provide personalised client consultations and product education tailored to skin type, tone and client preferences
- Support store operations through flexible scheduling, punctual attendance and availability during peak hours (nights, weekends, holidays)
- Contribute to an inclusive team culture by collaborating with colleagues and supporting merchandising and housekeeping standards
Qualifications
- Active cosmetology/esthetician license or other state-required license to provide waxing, makeup and false-lash services in Texas
- 1–3 years of experience in beauty services, retail, hospitality or a client-facing service role
- Demonstrated knowledge of beauty products, trends and application techniques
- Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to build lasting client relationships
- Ability to meet physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 50 pounds

Experience
1–3 years of experience in a similar role or in retail, hospitality, or customer-service environments, with hands-on experience performing makeup, waxing or lash services preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; state cosmetology/esthetician certification or license required.
