Sephora Canada — Ajax, ON: Beauty Services Manager to lead the store Beauty Studio, manage paid services and in-store events.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the store’s Beauty, Skincare and Fragrance Studio(s), ensuring the Coordinator and Services team deliver a consistent, elevated client experience.
  • Drive the strategy and execution of 1:1 paid services (makeup applications and skincare treatments) and manage the Online Reservation system (availability, classes and bookings).
  • Plan, staff and execute in‑store classes and brand events in partnership with brand collaborators to maximise client education and sales opportunities.
  • Coach, certify and develop Beauty Services Leads, Coordinators and Advisors through formal training, performance feedback and skills‑based development plans.
  • Manage staffing and scheduling to align service capacity with demand, monitor studio inventory and testers, and ensure operational compliance and presentation standards.
  • Act as Manager on Duty as required, engaging directly with clients and advisors on the sales floor and participating in performance management related to the Beauty Studio.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2–4 years of management experience in beauty, retail or customer service, or equivalent internal progression.
  • Proven track record of coaching and developing teams to meet company performance standards.
  • Demonstrated experience producing or executing events and initiatives that generate client engagement and business results.
  • Excellent time management and organisational capability, with the ability to optimise team productivity.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays; ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and work in a fragrance-filled environment.
  • Preferred: background or qualification in makeup artistry or skincare services.

Experience

Education

Secondary school diploma required; post-secondary credential in business, retail management, cosmetology or a related discipline preferred.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 54,800 to CAD 68,500 per annum.
