Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver courteous, expert client consultations and recommended product solutions across makeup, skincare and fragrance.
- Perform paid beauty services, including makeup application and tailored skincare demonstrations, to increase conversion and ticket value.
- Greet clients enthusiastically, maintain high standards of clienteling and follow-up for repeat business.
- Support cash-host / point-of-sale functions as required and ensure smooth client flow at the till.
- Participate in stock control, report inventory issues to management and contribute to loss-prevention initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with sampling policies and in-store safety and hygiene procedures.
- Undertake product training and onboard nominated team members to achieve thorough brand knowledge; coach peers on techniques and service standards.
- Contribute to store events and activations to drive service uptake and brand engagement.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years' experience in retail or service environments, preferably in beauty or cosmetics.
- Proven verbal communication skills and ability to influence clients and internal stakeholders with clarity and professionalism.
- Flexibility to work varied schedules including daytime, evenings and weekends.
- Strong client service orientation and eagerness to learn product ranges and application techniques.

Experience
Preferably 1–3 years of retail or service-sector experience; prior experience in beauty, cosmetics or cosmetics services is advantageous but not mandatory.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary or technical training in cosmetology, esthetics or makeup artistry considered an asset.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 19.10 to CAD 23.25 per hour.
