Sephora in São José dos Campos seeks a full-time Beauty Sales Consultant to deliver expert client service and maintain store presentation.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage customers with enthusiasm; deliver personalised, expert beauty advice and product demonstrations.
- Drive sales through effective needs assessment, product recommendations and upselling complementary items.
- Maintain high standards of visual merchandising, store presentation and cleanliness according to Sephora concepts.
- Operate point-of-sale procedures and assist with stock control, inventory accuracy and shrink-loss prevention.
- Adhere to company policies, safety procedures and the LVMH code of conduct; protect customer and company confidentiality.
- Contribute proactively to the store team, participate in store initiatives and support continuous improvement opportunities.
- Complete assigned trainings (My Sephora Learning) and assist in onboarding and coaching new consultants.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous retail experience preferred; beauty or cosmetics experience desirable.
- Availability and flexibility to work retail schedules, including weekends and evenings.
- Ability to communicate clearly with customers and colleagues; reliable and consistent service delivery.
- Comfortable operating a POS system and handling/applying cosmetic products on clients.
- Adherence to Sephora dress code and professional grooming standards.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level role. Prior experience in retail or the beauty sector is desirable but not mandatory; motivated candidates with strong customer service aptitude will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; knowledge of a foreign language is desirable.
