Sephora in Rio de Janeiro seeks a Beauty Sales Consultant — full-time, on-site role delivering expert beauty advice and exceptional customer service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet and engage customers, deliver personalised consultations and recommend products to meet client needs and preferences.
- Demonstrate product knowledge across makeup, skincare and fragrance; perform product application and sampling where appropriate.
- Maintain store presentation and visual merchandising standards, ensuring displays, cleanliness and stock presentation align with Sephora concepts.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and complete transactional duties when authorised; support inventory control and stock quality checks.
- Adhere to Sephora and LVMH policies, including loss-prevention measures, confidentiality and the company code of conduct.
- Participate actively in store initiatives, identify opportunities for process or commercial improvements and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Complete required training modules and pursue additional learning (My Sephora Learning); support onboarding and coaching of new consultants.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of retail experience; previous experience in beauty or cosmetics strongly preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; foreign language skills desirable.
- Excellent verbal communication and customer-service skills, with demonstrated organisational ability.
- Availability and flexibility to work retail hours; reliable adherence to appearance and dress code standards.
- Ability to operate POS systems and handle product application on clients safely and hygienically.
