Role & Responsibilities
- Greet and assist all customers entering the store with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Provide specialist customer service, identifying client needs through consultative dialogue and recommending appropriate products
- Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge and communicate product benefits to clients
- Maintain store presentation according to Sephora concepts and procedures, including cleanliness, maintenance, and organization standards
- Actively contribute as a motivated team member, recognizing and respecting colleagues' contributions
- Participate in inventory control and quality management procedures
- Execute and comply with all Sephora policies and procedures with accuracy and speed
- Maintain store security standards and assist in reducing merchandise loss and shrinkage
- Complete all My Sephora Learning training modules and seek additional professional development when required
- Support the training and onboarding of new consultants
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends
- Assist with point-of-sale operations when authorized
- Stay informed of special store events and promotional activities
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail experience (preferred)
- Experience in beauty retail (preferred)
- Clear verbal communication with customers and colleagues
- Ability to handle and apply beauty products on clients
- Strong customer service orientation
- Logical reasoning and problem-solving abilities
- Availability and scheduling flexibility
- Professional appearance and adherence to dress code standards
- Consistent, reliable attendance
Skills
Experience
Beginner-level candidates are welcome; previous retail or beauty industry experience is desirable but not required. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to learning, adaptability, and enthusiasm for the beauty sector.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required. Knowledge of a foreign language is desirable.
