Sephora seeks a Beauty Retail Assistant for its Düsseldorf corner, working part-time for 8 hours under a permanent employment contract. The role combines customer advice and sales across beauty departments with service support, merchandising, stock, inventory and cash-register duties.
Role & Responsibilities
- Actively support and advise customers across makeup, skincare, haircare and fragrance departments, including on beauty trends.
- Deliver a welcoming, knowledgeable and effective customer experience in line with the Sephora Attitude.
- Sell products through in-depth product knowledge and build customer relationships on an equal footing.
- Share knowledge of products, trends and beauty news.
- Provide short services across all departments.
- Support beauty classes.
- Maintain product presentation in accordance with visual merchandising specifications.
- Maintain the assortment and merchandise.
- Keep the sales floor fully stocked and prepare products for sale.
- Clean furniture and products on the sales floor.
- Store and replenish goods in the stockroom and on the sales floor.
- Support the implementation and construction of merchandising updates.
- Carry out inventories.
- Operate the cash register.
- Complete additional tasks related to daily business.
- Monitor conversion rate, items per basket, average basket, customer feedback and satisfaction, and number of services.
Qualifications
- Communicative, reliable and organized.

- Open, motivating and friendly manner.
- Comparable experience or an interest in beauty, cosmetics, retail, fashion or gastronomy.
- Initial experience in retail and in advising and serving customers.
- Excellent customer communication skills.
- Good knowledge of the beauty industry and trends.
- Fluent in English or the country's native language.
