Sephora Northern Sydney seeks a Retail Assistant (Beauty Advisor), part-time. $35.10/hr + super; customer-facing role across makeup, skincare and wellness.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver an outstanding, personalised customer experience by listening to client needs and recommending relevant beauty solutions across makeup, skincare, haircare and wellness.
- Demonstrate product features and benefits, introduce customers to Sephora’s CRM program and drive customer enrolment and loyalty.
- Maintain up‑to‑date product and trend knowledge, attend in‑store trainings and participate in cross‑training across departments.
- Support daily store operations including merchandising, stock replenishment, visual standards and keeping consultation areas presentation‑ready.
- Collaborate with the store team and field trainers to achieve sales targets and provide mentorship to peers where applicable.
Qualifications
- Previous sales experience in a retail or customer‑facing environment preferred; entry‑level applicants are welcome.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer‑centric approach.
- Availability to work key trading times, including late nights and weekends; ideally able to commit to three full trading days per week (Thursday–Sunday peak trading).
- Enthusiasm for beauty trends and willingness to undertake ongoing product and skills training.
- Right to work in Australia.

Entry‑level role; previous retail or customer‑facing sales experience is preferred but not required.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational training or certifications in beauty, cosmetics or related fields advantageous.

The base compensation for this position is AUD 35.10 per hour.
