Sephora in San Francisco seeks a Beauty Advisor (part-time, Flex) at Union Street. Hourly pay $22.60–$26.00/hr.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised beauty consultations and product recommendations tailored to each client’s needs and preferences.
  • Demonstrate product expertise across makeup, skincare and fragrance; perform demonstrations and educate clients on application and routines.
  • Drive sales performance by achieving or exceeding individual and store KPIs and conversion targets.
  • Maintain merchandising standards, manage inventory activities and ensure a clean, organised and welcoming sales floor.
  • Keep current with beauty trends, new product launches and brand initiatives to provide relevant, up-to-date advice.
  • Contribute to an inclusive, team-centred environment and uphold Sephora’s customer service and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Previous client-facing experience in retail, hospitality or a service environment with demonstrated customer service excellence.
  • Passion for beauty, trends and a commitment to empowering client confidence.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Reliable availability for retail peak periods including nights, weekends and holidays; meets minimum weekly shift/hours for Flex scheduling.
  • Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform standard retail tasks.

Experience
