Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized consultations and tailored product recommendations to meet each client's beauty needs and preferences.
- Demonstrate product expertise across makeup, skincare and fragrance to educate and empower clients.
- Maintain awareness of current beauty trends, launches and techniques to provide contemporary advice.
- Drive sales results by meeting and exceeding individual and store performance metrics and KPIs.
- Support inventory management, merchandising and maintain a clean, organized and welcoming retail environment.
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative team culture and adhere to Sephora Canada policies and customer service standards.
Qualifications
- Previous client-facing experience in retail, hospitality or another service environment with a proven ability to deliver excellent customer service.
- Passion for beauty, trends and helping clients build confidence through products and education.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
- Availability for retail peak hours including nights, weekends and holidays; punctuality and reliable attendance.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level role; previous retail, hospitality or client-facing experience preferred but not required. Demonstrated customer service capability is essential.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; post-secondary training in cosmetology, esthetics or related fields is an asset.
