Sephora in New York seeks a Beauty Advisor (Flex) — part-time hourly role delivering personalized beauty consultations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized in-store consultations and product recommendations tailored to each client's needs and preferences.
- Demonstrate and translate product expertise across makeup, skincare and fragrance to educate and empower clients.
- Stay current with beauty trends, launches and application techniques to provide relevant, value-added advice.
- Achieve individual sales goals and key performance indicators through consultative selling and clienteling.
- Support merchandising, inventory processes and maintain an organized, visually appealing and hygienic sales floor.
- Promote an inclusive, team-oriented environment and adhere to company policies that ensure a safe, welcoming shopping experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience delivering excellent service in a retail, hospitality or client-facing environment preferred.
- Passion for beauty, trends and helping clients feel confident.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable advising diverse clientele.
- Reliable availability for flexible scheduling, including nights, weekends and holidays; punctuality and consistent attendance required.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Experience
Entry-level role; prior retail, hospitality or client-facing experience preferred and a demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and build client relationships.
