Sephora Meridian, ID is hiring a Part‑Time Beauty Advisor — deliver personalized consultations; pay $16.60–$19.30/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized one-to-one beauty consultations and tailored product recommendations that address each client’s needs and preferences.
- Demonstrate product expertise across makeup, skincare and fragrance; educate clients on usage, ingredients and routines to build loyalty.
- Proactively stay informed on beauty trends, launches and techniques to provide contemporary, relevant advice.
- Drive sales results by meeting daily and weekly KPIs, converting consultations into transactions and supporting promotional initiatives.
- Maintain store presentation standards: merchandising, replenishment, inventory accuracy and a clean, welcoming client environment.
- Foster an inclusive team culture by supporting colleagues, contributing to training, and upholding Sephora’s customer service standards.
- Adhere to company policies and loss-prevention procedures to ensure a safe and secure shopping experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality or another client-facing environment with demonstrable customer service skills preferred.
- Passion for beauty trends, product knowledge and client empowerment.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport quickly with diverse clientele.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
- Availability for retail peak hours including nights, weekends and holidays; ability to meet minimum weekly shift requirements for part-time roles.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level role; prior retail, hospitality or client-facing experience is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates should be comfortable working to sales targets and engaging clients through consultative selling.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

The successful candidate will be located in Meridian, Idaho, USA, with easy access to Boise.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 16.60 to USD 19.30 per hour.
