Beauty Advisor (Part-Time) – Sephora Canada, Calgary, AB. Hourly retail position offering personalized client consultations and beauty expertise.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized beauty consultations and tailored product recommendations that address each client's individual needs
- Demonstrate comprehensive product expertise and educate clients to empower them in their beauty journey
- Monitor and communicate the latest beauty products, techniques, and industry trends to deliver current and relevant advice
- Support inventory management, merchandising execution, and maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment
- Drive sales results and exceed key performance indicators as established by the organization
- Foster an inclusive, welcoming culture and actively promote teamwork and employee empowerment
- Uphold Sephora Canada policies and standards to ensure a safe, secure, and enjoyable shopping experience for all clients
Qualifications
- Previous retail, hospitality, or client-focused service experience with demonstrated ability to provide excellent service and develop strong client relationships
- Genuine passion for beauty, current trends, and empowering client confidence
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Team player mentality with the ability to thrive in collaborative, goal-oriented, and inclusive environments
- Quick learner capable of absorbing and sharing detailed product knowledge

Skills
Experience
Entry-level retail or customer service experience in beauty, cosmetics, hospitality, or a related client-facing field is preferred. Candidates without direct experience but with strong interpersonal skills and passion for beauty are encouraged to apply.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional beauty certification or cosmetics training is a plus but not required.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 17 to CAD 20 per hour.
