The Beauty Advisor provides expert makeup, skincare and fragrance guidance, delivers Sephora-standard customer service and supports sales targets, training, merchandising, cashiering and stock management. This is a full-time, on-site store position in Wuhan, reporting to the store management team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice on makeup, skincare and fragrance.
- Deliver high-quality service in line with Sephora’s service philosophy, improving customer satisfaction and following hygiene rules and procedures.
- Meet store sales targets by understanding customers’ needs, recommending suitable products and working toward short- and long-term sales goals and key KPIs.
- Receive customers in accordance with company standards for makeup and uniform.
- Complete required foundational training and assessments; build product knowledge through brand, regional and in-store training.
- Share experience with colleagues, support mutual learning and development, and understand Sephora’s employee career paths while setting a personal development plan.
- Prepare product displays in the assigned area, replenish shelves, maintain shelf and drawer cleanliness, and ensure visual presentation meets Sephora standards.
- Monitor tester cleanliness and use, and promptly report issues to the management team.
- Execute quarterly promotional displays.
- Process customer purchases according to cashiering procedures and standard operating procedures, correctly apply gift-with-purchase policies, follow CRM policies and procedures, and work with store management to safeguard cash.
- Process deliveries, returns and stock counts accurately; apply first-in, first-out rotation, manage products approaching expiry and reduce store shrinkage; follow warehouse 5S policies.
- Comply with company policies and regulations and complete other duties assigned by the Store Manager.
