Sephora Winterthur seeks a Beauty Advisor (80% permanent) to provide expert consultations across makeup, skincare and fragrance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide active, consultative customer service across all departments (make-up, skincare, haircare and fragrance).
- Deliver short beauty services and demonstrations tailored to client needs and brand standards.
- Share up-to-date product knowledge and trends with customers to drive informed purchase decisions.
- Ensure product presentation and visual merchandising comply with corporate guidelines.
- Maintain optimal stock levels on the sales floor; prepare and merchandise product for sale.
- Manage back-of-house inventory: receipt, storage and replenishment of merchandise.
Qualifications
- Fluent English and/or native-level proficiency in the local language (German preferred for Winterthur).
- Customer-focused mindset with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Availability to work an 80% part-time schedule, including weekends and peak retail hours as required.
- Previous experience or demonstrable interest in beauty, cosmetics, retail, fashion or hospitality.
- Basic numeracy and reliability in handling stock, merchandising and transactional tasks.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level role; first experiences in retail, customer service or hospitality are advantageous. A genuine interest in the beauty sector and experience in client-facing advisory work is preferred.
Education
Secondary-school diploma; vocational training or certificates in retail, cosmetics or related fields are an advantage but not mandatory.
