The Beauty Advisor at Sephora delivers personalized consultations and product recommendations, shares beauty expertise, supports sales performance and store presentation, and helps foster an inclusive, welcoming shopping environment. This is a permanent, full-time role with a schedule of 30–40 hours per week, including availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized beauty consultations and product recommendations tailored to each client’s needs.
- Share product expertise to educate and empower clients in their beauty journey.
- Keep current with beauty products, techniques, and trends to provide relevant advice.
- Exceed sales goals and key performance indicators.
- Support inventory and merchandising, and maintain a clean, organized, welcoming store environment.
- Promote an inclusive culture where everyone feels empowered.
- Follow company policies and help ensure a safe, secure, and enjoyable shopping experience.
- Meet the required minimum number of weekly shifts and hours; be available during peak retail operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays; maintain punctuality and consistent attendance.

- Previous experience and demonstrated ability to provide excellent service and develop strong client relationships in a retail, hospitality, or client-focused environment.
- Passion for beauty, trends, and empowering confidence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Quick learner able to absorb and share product knowledge.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Experience
Previous experience in a retail, hospitality, or client-focused environment; beginner-level experience.
