Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized consultations and product recommendations tailored to each client’s needs and preferences.
- Demonstrate product expertise through in-store demonstrations, make‑up applications and skincare guidance to educate and empower clients.
- Stay current on beauty trends, new product launches and application techniques to ensure relevant and authoritative client advice.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators through consultative selling and client follow-up.
- Support merchandising and inventory activities to maintain an attractive, organized and safe sales floor.
- Uphold Sephora’s operational standards and policies to ensure a secure and positive shopping experience.
- Contribute to an inclusive team environment and participate in collaborative initiatives that promote belonging.
Qualifications
- Previous customer‑facing experience in retail, hospitality or a similar client‑centric environment preferred.
- Passion for beauty, trends and client empowerment with a demonstrable interest in cosmetics, skincare and fragrance.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport quickly.
- Team‑oriented mindset with a results‑driven approach and the ability to work in a fast‑paced retail setting.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and to stand for extended periods.
- Availability during peak retail hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, and ability to meet minimum shift requirements for the role.
