Sephora Canada — Beauty Advisor (Part-time) in Vancouver, BC. Provide personalised beauty consultations and product recommendations. Hourly role.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised consultations and product recommendations tailored to each client's needs and preferences.
  • Demonstrate product knowledge and application techniques to educate and empower clients across makeup, skincare and fragrance categories.
  • Maintain up-to-date awareness of beauty trends, new launches and brand assortments to provide relevant advice and drive repeat visits.
  • Achieve individual and store sales targets, conversion and key performance indicators through proactive client engagement and follow-up.
  • Support merchandising, inventory management and visual standards to ensure an organised, attractive and compliant retail environment.
  • Uphold company policies and safety procedures to deliver a secure, welcoming and inclusive shopping experience.
  • Work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays and meet the minimum weekly shift requirements for part-time roles.

Qualifications

  • Previous client-facing experience in retail, hospitality or a service environment with demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service.
  • A demonstrable passion for beauty, trends and product knowledge with the ability to learn and share technical information quickly.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport and long-term client relationships.
  • Collaborative team orientation and a results-driven mindset with comfort working to sales targets and KPIs.
  • Physically able to lift and carry merchandise up to 50 pounds and perform prolonged periods of standing.
  • Availability for flexible scheduling, including nights, weekends and statutory holidays; meets part-time minimum hours (15–29 hrs/week).

Experience

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 18.85 to CAD 23.55 per hour.
