Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized in‑store beauty consultations and product recommendations that respond to each client's needs and preferences.
• Educate and empower clients by demonstrating product usage, techniques and the latest beauty trends.
• Drive sales performance by meeting and exceeding individual and store KPIs and sales targets.
• Support merchandising, inventory upkeep and visual standards to maintain an organized, welcoming retail environment.
• Contribute to an inclusive team culture by collaborating with colleagues and upholding Sephora Canada policies and service standards.
• Maintain flexible availability for peak retail hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays, and ensure punctual attendance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail, hospitality or another client‑facing environment preferred; demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service.
• Passion for beauty, trends and product knowledge with a willingness to learn and share expertise.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; strong collaborator in a goal‑oriented team.
• Physically able to lift and carry merchandise up to 50 pounds.
• Availability to meet the required minimum number of weekly shifts for part‑time scheduling and to work retail peak hours.

Experience

Entry‑level role; candidates with some retail or client‑facing experience are preferred but motivated newcomers with strong customer service aptitude will be considered.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; post‑secondary training or certification in cosmetology, makeup artistry or related beauty disciplines is an asset.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 18.85 to CAD 23.55 per hour.
