The Beauty Advisor at Sephora in Thunder Bay delivers personalized beauty consultations and product recommendations, shares product expertise, and supports sales, inventory, merchandising, and an inclusive, welcoming store environment. This is a permanent, full-time hourly role requiring 30–40 hours per week, with availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized beauty consultations and product recommendations tailored to each client’s needs.
• Share product expertise to educate and support clients in their beauty journeys.
• Stay current on beauty products, techniques, and trends to provide relevant advice.
• Exceed sales goals and key performance indicators.
• Support inventory and merchandising, and maintain a clean, organized, welcoming environment.
• Promote an inclusive, open culture where everyone feels empowered, and work collaboratively as part of the team.
• Follow company policies and help provide a safe, secure, and enjoyable shopping experience.
• Meet the minimum weekly shift and hours requirements for a full-time role: 30–40 hours per week.
• Be available during peak retail operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Maintain punctuality and consistent attendance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience and demonstrated ability to provide excellent service and build strong client relationships in a retail, hospitality, or client-focused environment.
• Passion for beauty, trends, and empowering confidence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Collaborative team player who thrives in a goal-oriented and inclusive environment.
• Quick learner able to absorb and share product knowledge.
• Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 18.20 to CAD 21.40 per hour.
