Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized consultations and product recommendations tailored to each client's needs and preferences.
- Demonstrate product expertise across makeup, skincare and fragrance to educate and inspire clients.
- Remain current on beauty trends, product launches and application techniques to provide relevant advice.
- Drive sales performance and key performance indicators through consultative selling and client follow-up.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards, inventory accuracy and a clean, inviting salesfloor.
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative environment and represent Sephora’s service standards and policies.
- Maintain reliable attendance and flexibility to work peak retail hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- Previous experience delivering excellent service in a retail, hospitality or client-facing role preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a consultative selling orientation.
- Passion for beauty, trends and educating clients to build long-term relationships.
- Ability to learn product information quickly and share knowledge with clients and colleagues.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Availability to meet required minimum weekly shifts and work peak retail hours (nights, weekends, holidays).
Skills
Experience
Entry-level role; prior retail, hospitality, or other client-facing experience preferred but not mandatory. Demonstrated ability to provide excellent service and develop client relationships is valued.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; cosmetology or beauty certifications considered a plus.
