Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional, welcoming customer experience and provide personalised beauty consultations across makeup, skincare, haircare and wellness categories.
- Demonstrate product application techniques, recommend routines and translate product features into tangible benefits for customers.
- Promote and support customer enrolment in the store CRM and loyalty programme to deepen client relationships and repeat purchase behaviour.
- Participate in initial onboarding and ongoing in-store and online training to maintain up-to-date product and brand knowledge.
- Support the store team through sales activity, merchandising upkeep, stock replenishment and maintaining presentation standards.
- Engage in cross-training across departments and contribute to a collaborative retail environment.
Qualifications
- Previous sales or customer-facing experience in a retail environment, preferably within beauty or luxury retail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset.
- Availability to work retail peak trading times, including late nights and weekends (ideal candidates can provide three full days across key trading periods).
- A demonstrated interest in beauty trends, product knowledge and continual professional development.

Experience
Entry-level role: prior retail or customer-facing sales experience is preferred but candidates at the beginning of their career with demonstrable passion for beauty will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or certificate-level training in beauty, cosmetics or retail is advantageous.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position is AUD 35.10 per hour.
