Sephora Sydney seeks a Retail Assistant (Beauty Advisor) in Sydney CBD — part-time role, $35.10/hr + super, hands-on retail and product training.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver an exceptional, consultative customer experience across beauty, skincare, haircare and wellness categories and convert client interactions into sales.
  • Support the in-store client journey by demonstrating product benefits, advising on routines and promoting the Sephora loyalty/CRM programme.
  • Assist with merchandising, product replenishment and maintaining visual presentation to brand standards.
  • Participate actively in onboarding, continuous learning via Sephora's online learning platform and in-store training sessions; cross-train across departments.
  • Support store trading requirements including late-night and weekend shifts, and contribute to promotional events and seasonal initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Previous sales experience in retail or other customer-facing roles preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to build client relationships.
  • Keen interest in beauty trends, product knowledge and the ability to translate features into client benefits.
  • Availability for retail trading peaks (ability to provide three full days of availability including late nights and weekends).

Experience

Compensation

The base compensation for this position is AUD 35.10 per hour.
