Sephora (Empire Mall, Sioux Falls, SD) is hiring a Part‑Time Beauty Advisor — provide consultations, drive sales, and support store merchandising.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized one-to-one beauty consultations and product recommendations that address each client’s needs and preferences.
- Demonstrate product expertise across skincare, makeup, fragrance and beauty tools to educate and empower clients.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators through consultative selling and client follow-up.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards, support inventory activities and ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment.
- Stay current on industry trends, new product launches and techniques to provide relevant, timely advice.
- Promote an inclusive team culture and uphold Sephora policies to ensure a safe and enjoyable shopping experience.
Qualifications
- Previous retail, hospitality, or client-facing experience with a demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service.
- Passion for beauty, trends and product education; ability to learn and retain product knowledge quickly.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable building long-term client relationships.
- Team-oriented, goal-driven mindset with reliability in attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays, and to meet minimum weekly shift requirements.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as required by store operations.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level; prior experience in retail, hospitality, or other client-facing roles preferred. Demonstrated customer service ability and an interest in beauty are essential.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 16.60 to USD 19.30 per hour.
