Sephora Beauty Advisor role in Shanghai — deliver luxury beauty consultations, drive sales, and manage retail operations on-site.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide professional product consultation on cosmetics, skincare, and fragrances in alignment with Sephora service philosophy
- Deliver personalised recommendations based on comprehensive customer needs assessment and product knowledge
- Achieve store-level sales targets and key performance indicators through effective team collaboration and execution of sales strategy
- Maintain personal appearance and professional dress code standards per company requirements
- Prepare and restock product displays within assigned areas whilst maintaining Sephora visual merchandising standards
- Execute point-of-sale transactions accurately, enforce promotional policies, and maintain strict CRM protocol compliance
- Manage inventory receipt, returns, and stock audits to ensure accuracy and minimise shrinkage through FIFO rotation
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of display areas, shelving, drawers, and stockroom in accordance with 5S principles
- Complete mandatory company training modules and assessments to develop product knowledge and professional competencies
- Share knowledge and experiences with store colleagues to foster collaborative learning and development
- Adhere strictly to all company policies, regulatory standards, and hygiene protocols during customer interactions and store operations
- Execute ad hoc store management directives and seasonal merchandising initiatives as assigned
- Conduct regular quality checks on testers and sample displays, communicating maintenance needs to management
