Sephora Shanghai is hiring a Beauty Advisor in Shanghai to deliver client consultations, merchandising, sales and inventory management.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver expert makeup, skincare and fragrance consultations that reflect Sephora’s service standards and hygiene protocols.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets by identifying customer needs, recommending products and promoting key sales initiatives and KPIs.
- Support daily store operations including cashiering, accurate transaction handling and adherence to CRM policies and promotions.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards: replenish displays, ensure product presentation and cleanliness, and execute seasonal promotional setups.
- Manage stock accuracy: receive and process goods, participate in returns and cycle counts, apply FIFO and 5S principles to minimise shrinkage.
- Participate in required product and brand training, share learnings with colleagues and follow an individual development plan as guided by store management.
- Perform additional tasks assigned by store management and comply with all company policies and SOPs.

Skills
Experience
No specific years mandated; previous retail or client-facing experience in cosmetics, skincare or fashion is preferred. Experience with point-of-sale transactions and achieving sales targets is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or cosmetology courses are a plus.
