Sephora Sarasota hiring a Beauty Advisor (Flex) — part-time hourly $18–$20.50/hr to provide personalized beauty consultations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver tailored, high-quality beauty consultations and product recommendations that address individual client needs and preferences.
- Demonstrate deep product knowledge across makeup, skincare and fragrance to educate and empower clients.
- Drive sales and achieve store KPIs through consultative selling, clienteling and follow-up.
- Maintain merchandising standards, support inventory activities and ensure a clean, organized and inviting sales floor.
- Stay current on industry trends, new product launches and application techniques to provide relevant advice.
- Support an inclusive team culture, collaborate with colleagues and uphold company policies for a safe and welcoming customer experience.
- Work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays and meet minimum weekly shift/hours requirements for the Flex role.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality or another client-facing environment preferred.
- Demonstrable passion for beauty, trends and client empowerment.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a consultative selling approach.
- Reliable availability during peak retail hours (nights, weekends, holidays) and ability to meet minimum weekly shifts for the Flex schedule.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Experience
Entry-level. No minimum years required; previous retail, hospitality or other client-facing experience is preferred and advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; formal beauty, cosmetology or esthetics training is a plus but not required.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 18 to USD 20.50 per hour.
