Sephora Sarasota is hiring a full-time Beauty Advisor in Sarasota, FL. Hourly $18.00–$20.50 — deliver personalised beauty consultations and drive sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised beauty consultations and product recommendations tailored to each client’s needs and preferences.
- Demonstrate product application techniques across makeup and skincare to educate and empower clients.
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and trend awareness to provide relevant, authoritative advice.
- Drive sales performance by achieving individual sales goals and key performance indicators.
- Support merchandising, stock management and inventory replenishment to ensure an attractive selling floor.
- Ensure the store environment is clean, organised and welcoming, complying with visual merchandising standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues to foster an inclusive, team-oriented culture and support store initiatives.
- Adhere to company policies, safety and loss-prevention procedures to protect clients and assets.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated customer-service excellence in retail, hospitality or client-facing roles.
- Genuine passion for beauty, cosmetics and current industry trends.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable advising diverse client profiles.
- Collaborative, goal-oriented mindset with an ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends and holidays; reliable punctuality and attendance.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level. Previous retail, hospitality or client-facing experience is preferred but not required; training is provided to develop product expertise and selling skills.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
