Sephora is hiring a part-time Beauty Advisor at its Third Street Promenade store in Santa Monica. The role involves personalized consultations, product recommendations, trend and product expertise, sales performance, merchandising, inventory support, and maintaining an inclusive, welcoming store environment; part-time schedules are 15–29 hours per week.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and provide personalized beauty consultations and product recommendations tailored to their needs.
- Share product expertise to educate and empower clients in their beauty journeys.
- Keep up with current beauty products, techniques, and trends to provide relevant advice.
- Work to exceed sales goals and key performance indicators.
- Support inventory and merchandising, and maintain a clean, organized, welcoming store environment.
- Help foster an open, inclusive culture where everyone feels empowered.
- Follow company policies and help create a safe, secure, and enjoyable shopping experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience and demonstrated ability to provide excellent service and develop strong client relationships in a retail, hospitality, or client-focused environment.
- Passion for beauty, trends, and empowering confidence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Collaborative team player who thrives in a goal-oriented and inclusive environment.
- Quick learner able to absorb and share product knowledge.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Able to meet the required minimum number of weekly shifts and hours; part-time schedules are 15–29 hours per week.
- Available during peak retail operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Punctual, with consistent attendance.
