Sephora Salt Lake City seeks a part-time Beauty Advisor to deliver personalized consultations and drive sales. $18.00–$20.50/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized beauty consultations and product recommendations tailored to each client’s needs and preferences.
- Educate and empower clients by demonstrating product knowledge across makeup, skincare and fragrance.
- Remain current with beauty trends, product launches and application techniques to provide authoritative advice.
- Drive sales performance and contribute to achieving store KPIs and individual sales targets.
- Support merchandising, inventory replenishment and visual standards to maintain an organized, inviting selling environment.
- Uphold company policies and safety standards to ensure a secure and welcoming shopping experience.
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative team environment that promotes belonging and strong client relationships.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service in a retail, hospitality or client-facing role; prior beauty retail experience preferred but not required.
- Demonstrable passion for beauty, product trends and client empowerment.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with strong relationship-building capability.
- Reliable availability for scheduled shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays; must meet minimum weekly hours for part-time status.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds when required.

Experience
Entry-level position; prior retail, hospitality or client-facing experience is preferred. Demonstrated ability to build client relationships and contribute to sales results is valued.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; cosmetology or beauty-related certification is a plus.
