Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised client consultations and product recommendations to meet individual beauty needs and preferences.
  • Demonstrate deep product knowledge to educate and empower clients across makeup, skincare and fragrance categories.
  • Maintain up-to-date awareness of beauty trends, product launches and techniques to ensure relevant, on-trend advice.
  • Drive sales and achieve key performance indicators through consultative selling and client relationship development.
  • Support merchandising and inventory processes to ensure a tidy, well-stocked and visually compelling sales floor.
  • Contribute to an inclusive, collaborative team culture and uphold Sephora Canada’s operational standards and policies.
  • Be reliably available for scheduled shifts during peak retail hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

  • Previous client-facing experience in retail, hospitality or a service environment preferred.
  • Demonstrable passion for beauty, trends and customer empowerment.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a consultative sales approach.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a goal-oriented team and adapt quickly to product training.
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform tasks required on the sales floor.

Experience

Entry-level position; previous experience in retail, hospitality or another client-facing role is preferred but not required. Candidates should demonstrate strong customer-service aptitude and a willingness to learn product techniques and sales methods.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
