Sephora in Rosemont, IL is hiring a Beauty Advisor (Flex) — part-time hourly role $19.80–$22.90/hr providing personalised beauty consultations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised beauty consultations and tailored product recommendations to meet each client’s needs and preferences.
- Demonstrate product expertise through sampling, application and education to empower clients in their beauty routines.
- Maintain awareness of product launches, techniques and industry trends to provide relevant, up-to-date advice.
- Drive sales performance by meeting or exceeding individual KPIs and contributing to store targets.
- Support merchandising, inventory accuracy and visual standards to ensure a clean, organised and inviting retail environment.
- Uphold company policies and safety standards to create a secure and welcoming shopping experience.
- Work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays and maintain punctuality and consistent attendance.
Qualifications
- Previous retail, hospitality or client-facing experience demonstrating excellent customer service and relationship-building.
- Passion for beauty, product knowledge and an eagerness to learn new techniques and trends.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable consulting with diverse clientele.
- Ability to meet required minimum weekly hours/shifts and be available during peak retail times (nights, weekends, holidays).
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform typical retail tasks.
- Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative, goal-driven approach.

Entry-level role; previous experience in retail, hospitality or another client-facing environment is preferred but not mandatory.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; cosmetology or beauty-related certification is a plus but not required.
