Sephora Canada seeks a part-time Beauty Advisor for its Cross Iron location in Rocky View, Alberta. The role involves delivering personalized beauty consultations, educating clients on product selection, maintaining store presentation, and driving sales performance. This hourly, non-exempt position requires flexibility during peak retail hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized beauty consultations and tailored product recommendations aligned with each client's preferences and skin profile
• Demonstrate expertise across Sephora's product portfolio and educate clients on application techniques, ingredients, and trend-forward selections
• Monitor and stay current with emerging beauty products, techniques, and trends to inform relevant and timely client advice
• Achieve assigned sales goals and key performance indicators while maintaining a consultative approach to client service
• Support inventory management, visual merchandising, and maintain store cleanliness and organization standards
• Promote an inclusive, collaborative team environment and support peer development within the store community
• Ensure compliance with Sephora Canada policies and protocols to maintain a safe, secure, and inviting shopping environment

Qualifications

• Previous retail, hospitality, or client-focused service experience demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated passion for beauty, cosmetics, and empowering client confidence
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities with the capacity to articulate product benefits clearly
• Collaborative team orientation with comfort in goal-oriented, fast-paced retail environments
• Ability to quickly absorb and retain product knowledge and share expertise with clients
• Physical capability to lift and carry merchandise up to 50 pounds safely

Skills

Experience

Entry-level retail or hospitality experience with demonstrated commitment to client service excellence. Prior beauty industry exposure or cosmetics retail background is advantageous but not required.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; beauty-related certification or training is not mandatory.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 17 to CAD 20 per hour.
