Sephora Canada is hiring a part-time Beauty Advisor in Rocky View, AB. Join Sephora to deliver personalized beauty consultations (CAD$17–20/hr).
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized consultations and product recommendations that meet each client's individual needs and preferences.
- Demonstrate product features and application techniques to educate and empower clients in their beauty routines.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product launches, beauty trends and application methods to provide relevant advice.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets, KPIs and conversion metrics through consultative selling and appropriate upselling.
- Support visual merchandising, stock replenishment and inventory control to ensure a clean, organized and on-brand presentation.
- Adhere to company policies and safety procedures to create a secure and enjoyable shopping experience for clients.
- Contribute to an inclusive team culture, supporting colleagues and fostering an environment where all clients feel welcome.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a client-facing retail, hospitality or service environment preferred; entry-level candidates with strong client skills considered.
- Passion for beauty, product trends and a desire to inspire client confidence.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to quickly learn and retain product knowledge and retail processes.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as required by store operations.
- Availability to work retail peak hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays; must meet part-time scheduling requirements (15–29 hours/week).
Skills
Experience
Entry-level: previous client-facing retail or hospitality experience is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates should demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and an aptitude for sales and product learning.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 17 to CAD 20 per hour.
