Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized consultations and tailored product recommendations to meet individual client needs across makeup, skincare and fragrance.
  • Demonstrate product knowledge and application techniques to educate and empower clients, including live demos and sampling.
  • Achieve and exceed sales goals and key performance indicators through proactive client engagement, conversion and retention.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards, support inventory processes and ensure a clean, organized and welcoming store environment.
  • Stay current on beauty trends, new product launches and category innovations to provide relevant advice.
  • Promote an inclusive, collaborative team environment and uphold Sephora Canada policies to ensure a safe and enjoyable shopping experience.

Qualifications

  • Previous retail, hospitality or client‑facing experience with demonstrated excellence in customer service.
  • Passion for beauty, trends and empowering clients’ confidence through product expertise.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport quickly with diverse clientele.
  • Availability for flexible scheduling including nights, weekends and holidays; part‑time availability of 15–29 hours/week.
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform standing, demo and merchandising tasks for extended periods.
