Sephora Canada — Richmond, BC is hiring a part-time Beauty Advisor to deliver personalized consultations, product expertise and drive sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized one-to-one beauty consultations and product recommendations that address each client's needs and preferences.
- Demonstrate product expertise through in-store demonstrations, makeup application and education to empower clients.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators through proactive clienteling and conversion.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards, support inventory tasks and ensure the sales floor is clean, organized and inviting.
- Stay current with beauty trends, product launches and techniques to provide contemporary, relevant advice.
- Adhere to Sephora Canada policies to uphold a safe, inclusive and secure shopping environment.
Qualifications
- Previous retail, hospitality or client-facing experience with demonstrated ability to deliver excellent service and build client relationships.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable educating and influencing clients.
- Passion for beauty, product trends and consumer empowerment.
- Availability for retail peak hours including evenings, weekends and holidays; punctuality and consistent attendance.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level role; previous retail or client-facing experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to build rapport and meet sales objectives is an asset.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; post-secondary studies or formal beauty certification considered an asset.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 18.85 to CAD 23.55 per hour.
