Sephora Providence is hiring a Part‑Time Beauty Advisor in Providence, RI — provide personalized consultations, drive sales, $19.80–$26.00/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized beauty consultations and tailored product recommendations to meet each client’s needs and preferences.
- Demonstrate deep product knowledge across makeup, skincare and fragrance to educate and empower clients.
- Stay current with beauty trends, new product launches and application techniques to provide relevant, high-quality advice.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets and key performance indicators through consultative selling and clienteling.
- Support merchandising, inventory control and maintain an organized, welcoming and visually appealing sales floor.
- Promote an inclusive, collaborative team environment and adhere to Sephora’s policies and customer service standards.
- Maintain flexible availability to meet weekly shift requirements and work peak retail hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- Previous experience providing excellent service in retail, hospitality, or a client-focused environment preferred.
- Passion for beauty, trends and helping clients feel confident.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport quickly.
- Team-oriented mindset and a results-driven approach to meet sales objectives.
- Ability to learn product knowledge quickly and share expertise with clients.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and sustain periods of standing.

Entry-level. Prior retail, hospitality, or client-facing experience is preferred but not required.
