Sephora Providence is hiring a Part‑Time Beauty Advisor in Providence, RI — provide personalized consultations, drive sales, $19.80–$26.00/hr.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized beauty consultations and tailored product recommendations to meet each client’s needs and preferences.
  • Demonstrate deep product knowledge across makeup, skincare and fragrance to educate and empower clients.
  • Stay current with beauty trends, new product launches and application techniques to provide relevant, high-quality advice.
  • Achieve individual and store sales targets and key performance indicators through consultative selling and clienteling.
  • Support merchandising, inventory control and maintain an organized, welcoming and visually appealing sales floor.
  • Promote an inclusive, collaborative team environment and adhere to Sephora’s policies and customer service standards.
  • Maintain flexible availability to meet weekly shift requirements and work peak retail hours including nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience providing excellent service in retail, hospitality, or a client-focused environment preferred.
  • Passion for beauty, trends and helping clients feel confident.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Team-oriented mindset and a results-driven approach to meet sales objectives.
  • Ability to learn product knowledge quickly and share expertise with clients.
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and sustain periods of standing.
