Sephora seeks a part-time Beauty Advisor in Plano, TX — deliver personalized consultations, product expertise and drive sales.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized consultations and tailor product recommendations to each client’s needs and preferences.
  • Demonstrate expert product knowledge across makeup, skincare and fragrance to educate and empower clients.
  • Drive sales performance by meeting and exceeding individual and store KPIs through active selling and upselling.
  • Maintain merchandising standards, support inventory operations and ensure a clean, organized, and inviting sales floor.
  • Stay current with beauty trends, product launches and techniques to provide relevant, compelling advice.
  • Foster an inclusive, team-oriented environment and adhere to company policies to create a safe shopping experience.
  • Adhere to a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays and maintain punctuality and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional client service in retail, hospitality or other client-facing roles.
  • Passion for beauty, trends and helping clients build confidence through product solutions.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable consulting one-on-one and in small groups.
  • Collaborative team player with a goal-oriented mindset and ability to adapt quickly to new information.
  • Availability for required minimum weekly shifts and peak retail hours (nights, weekends, holidays).
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as required by store operations.

Experience

Entry-level role; previous experience in retail, hospitality or other client-focused environments is preferred but not strictly required.
