Sephora is recruiting a Seasonal Retail Assistant to join the team at Carousel during the peak trading period (November 2026–January 2027). This casual, fixed-term position offers the opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service across beauty, skincare, haircare, and wellness categories, with the potential for extended employment if vacancies arise. The role requires availability across all key trading times, including evenings and weekends.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver inspiring and personalized customer service by understanding and addressing individual client needs
- Demonstrate product knowledge across all departments including beauty, skincare, haircare, and wellness
- Educate customers on product features, benefits, and the loyalty program to drive engagement
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and store presentation across all categories
- Multitask efficiently during peak trading periods (Thursday to Sunday) and manage customer flow effectively
- Participate in cross-training initiatives and attend in-store beauty expert training sessions
- Build lasting client relationships through exceptional interpersonal skills and product expertise
- Support team members through shared beauty knowledge and collaborative service delivery
Qualifications
- Previous sales experience in a retail or customer-facing environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Passion for beauty, skincare, and wellness products
- Ability to multitask and prioritize during high-volume trading periods
- Willingness to participate in continuous learning and cross-training

Entry-level retail or customer-facing experience preferred; beauty or cosmetics retail experience not required.
