Sephora (Barton Creek, Austin) is hiring a Part‑Time Beauty Advisor — provide consultations and drive sales. Hourly pay $19.80–$26.00.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised consultations and product recommendations that address each client’s needs and preferences.
- Demonstrate product expertise across makeup, skincare and fragrance; educate and empower clients to achieve their beauty goals.
- Drive sales and key performance indicators through consultative selling and client follow‑up.
- Maintain merchandising standards, support inventory processes and ensure a clean, organised and inviting salesfloor.
- Remain current with beauty trends and new product launches to provide relevant advice.
- Champion an inclusive, team‑oriented atmosphere and adhere to company policies for a safe shopping experience.
Qualifications
- Previous client‑facing experience in retail, hospitality or a similar service environment preferred.
- Genuine passion for beauty, product trends and client empowerment.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a consultative sales approach.
- Reliable availability for scheduled shifts including nights, weekends and holidays; punctual attendance.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as required by store operations.
Skills
Experience
Entry‑level role; previous retail or hospitality experience is preferred but not strictly required. Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent client service will be highly valued.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; cosmetology or beauty certifications are advantageous but not required.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 19.80 to USD 26 per hour.
