Sephora Virginia Beach is hiring a Part‑time Beauty Advisor — $18.00–$20.50/hr. Client-facing role delivering personalized consultations and product expertise.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized one-to-one beauty consultations and tailored product recommendations to meet individual client needs and preferences.
  • Demonstrate product expertise across makeup, skincare and fragrance lines to educate and empower clients.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of beauty trends, product launches and application techniques to drive client retention.
  • Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and key performance indicators through consultative selling and conversion optimization.
  • Support day-to-day store operations including merchandising, inventory control, stock replenishment and maintaining visual standards.
  • Ensure a clean, organized and welcoming sales floor that reflects Sephora brand standards.
  • Contribute to an inclusive team environment; participate in training, share product knowledge and support colleagues.
  • Adhere to company policies and loss-prevention procedures while providing a safe and compliant shopping experience.

Qualifications

  • Passion for beauty, trends and a strong desire to help clients feel confident.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable conducting face-to-face consultations.
  • Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays and meet minimum shift/hours requirements (part-time: 15–29 hrs/week).
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a goal-oriented team environment.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Previous client-facing retail, hospitality or customer-service experience preferred.

Experience
