Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized beauty consultations and tailored product recommendations to meet each client’s needs and preferences.
- Demonstrate and communicate product expertise across makeup, skincare, fragrance and beauty tools to educate and empower clients.
- Drive sales performance by meeting and exceeding store KPIs and individual sales targets through consultative selling and clienteling.
- Maintain attractive merchandising and presentation standards, manage inventory tasks and ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming sales floor.
- Monitor beauty trends and new launches to keep advice current and relevant; proactively introduce clients to new products and techniques.
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative atmosphere on the sales floor and contribute to team objectives and store initiatives.
- Adhere to Sephora policies and procedures to maintain a safe, secure, and compliant shopping experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality or other client-facing environments with demonstrable customer-service capability.
- Passion for beauty, trends and a genuine interest in empowering clients through product education.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a goal-oriented, inclusive team setting.
- Flexible availability to work nights, weekends and holidays and to meet the position’s minimum weekly shift requirements (15–29 hrs/week for part-time).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or carry up to 50 pounds as needed.

Experience
Entry-level role; prior experience in retail, hospitality or another client-facing environment is preferred but not mandatory. Demonstrated customer service ability and a willingness to learn product knowledge quickly are essential.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
