Sephora is hiring a Part‑Time Beauty Advisor in Santa Barbara, CA. Hourly pay $20.85–$25.54; deliver personalized beauty consultations and drive sales.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized beauty consultations and tailored product recommendations to meet individual client needs.
  • Demonstrate deep product knowledge across makeup, skincare and fragrance to educate and empower clients.
  • Stay current with beauty trends, product launches and application techniques to provide up-to-date advice.
  • Achieve sales targets and key performance indicators through consultative selling and effective client follow-up.
  • Support merchandising, stock management and maintain a clean, organized and welcoming store environment.
  • Promote an inclusive, team-oriented atmosphere and uphold Sephora’s service, safety and operational standards.
  • Work flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays and maintain punctuality and consistent attendance.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service and build client relationships in retail, hospitality or a client-facing environment.
  • Passion for beauty, trends and helping clients feel confident.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills; team-oriented and collaborative.
  • Quick learner with the aptitude to absorb and share product knowledge.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform standing, bending and carrying tasks throughout a shift.
  • Availability for a minimum number of weekly shifts consistent with part-time scheduling (15–29 hrs/week) and flexibility for peak retail periods.

Experience
