Sephora in San Diego seeks a Part‑Time Beauty Advisor at Carmel Mountain Plaza—15–29 hrs/week, $20.85–$23.98/hr.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized consultations and bespoke product recommendations that address each client’s skin, makeup and fragrance needs.
  • Demonstrate deep product knowledge to educate and empower clients; stay current on launches, techniques and beauty trends.
  • Drive sales performance by achieving individual KPIs and contributing to store revenue objectives.
  • Support inventory management and merchandising efforts to maintain a clean, organized and visually compelling selling floor.
  • Create a welcoming, inclusive client experience that aligns with Sephora standards and company policies.
  • Maintain flexible availability for peak retail hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays; ensure punctuality and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional client service in retail, hospitality, or another client-focused environment (preferred).
  • Passion for beauty products, trends and helping clients feel confident.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable building rapport with diverse clientele.

  • Quick learner with the capacity to absorb and share product knowledge accurately.
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as required by store operations.

Experience
