Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized, one-to-one beauty consultations and product recommendations that address each client’s needs and preferences.
- Demonstrate product knowledge across makeup, skincare, fragrance and tools; educate and empower clients on use and benefits.
- Drive sales and meet store KPIs through consultative selling, sampling, and follow-up to build client loyalty.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards, support inventory tasks and ensure the sales floor is clean, organized and inviting.
- Stay current on beauty trends, new product launches and techniques to provide timely and relevant advice.
- Uphold Sephora’s operational policies and safety standards to support a secure and enjoyable shopping experience.
- Contribute to an inclusive team culture by collaborating with colleagues and supporting store-level initiatives.
- Work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays; meet minimum weekly shift requirements for part-time employees.
Qualifications
- Previous retail, hospitality or client-facing experience preferred; proven ability to deliver excellent customer service.
- Passion for beauty, trends, and product education with a desire to support clients’ confidence journeys.
- Outstanding verbal communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable engaging diverse clientele.
- Team-oriented mindset with a goal-driven approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Education
