Sephora Canada in Ottawa seeks a Part‑Time Beauty Advisor (St. Laurent) — deliver personalised consultations. Pay CAD$18.20–21.40/hr.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised consultations and product recommendations to each client, tailoring advice to skin type, tone and lifestyle.
  • Demonstrate and educate clients on product benefits, application techniques and regimen suggestions.
  • Maintain current knowledge of beauty trends, new launches and technical product attributes to provide authoritative advice.
  • Drive sales performance and key performance indicators through clienteling, upselling and conversion of walk-in traffic.
  • Support merchandising, inventory replenishment and loss-prevention procedures to ensure a clean, organized and shoppable environment.
  • Contribute to an inclusive team culture by collaborating with colleagues, sharing knowledge and representing Sephora standards for customer service.
  • Adhere to company policies and safety protocols to create a secure and enjoyable shopping experience.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in retail, hospitality or another client-facing environment preferred but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrable passion for beauty, trends and product knowledge with the ability to learn quickly.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport and long-term client relationships.
  • Availability for retail peak hours including nights, weekends and holidays and ability to meet required weekly shift minimums for part-time schedules (15–29 hrs/week).
  • Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform standing, bending and visual merchandising tasks.

Experience
