Sephora seeks a Part-Time Beauty Advisor in New York, NY (Harlem) offering personalized beauty consultations and $21.75–$24.88/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized consultations and product recommendations tailored to each client's needs and preferences.
- Demonstrate product knowledge across makeup, skincare and fragrance to educate and empower clients.
- Achieve sales targets and key performance indicators through effective clienteling and upselling.
- Maintain merchandising standards, support inventory processes and ensure the store is clean, organized and inviting.
- Stay current on beauty trends, product launches and application techniques to provide relevant advice.
- Support a collaborative, inclusive store culture and adhere to company policies that ensure a safe shopping environment.
Qualifications
- Passion for beauty and strong interest in current trends, products and application techniques.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable advising diverse clientele.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding client service in retail, hospitality or other client-facing roles.
- Availability to work a flexible retail schedule including nights, weekends and holidays; meet minimum weekly shift requirements for part-time roles.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform standing, bending and merchandising tasks regularly.
