Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised consultations and product recommendations that address each client’s needs and beauty goals.
- Demonstrate and maintain product expertise across cosmetics, skincare and fragrance to educate and inspire clients.
- Achieve and exceed store sales goals and key performance indicators through consultative selling.
- Maintain merchandising standards, support inventory processes and ensure a clean, organised, and inviting sales floor.
- Keep current with beauty trends, product launches and application techniques to provide relevant advice.
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative store culture and uphold company policies to create a safe, welcoming shopping experience.
- Be available for scheduled shifts during peak retail hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality or other client-facing roles; demonstrable customer service ability.
- Passion for beauty, trends and client empowerment; genuine interest in product performance and application.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; confident consultative selling.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate in a goal-driven environment.
- Quick learner with the capacity to absorb and share product knowledge.
- Availability to meet part-time scheduling requirements (15–29 hrs/week) and work peak retail hours.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level position; previous retail or hospitality experience preferred but not required. Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent client service is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
